The psychologists in this practice are members of the Australian Psychological Society. They are registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, are eligible to provide Medicare rebates with an appropriate referral, and Health Fund Rebates where applicable. Our focus is to provide our clients with a caring, supportive, ethical and effective treatment informed by contemporary theory and evidence-based interventions.

Bill MacDonald provides assessment, counselling and therapeutic interventions for a wide range of emotional and behavioural problems for adults, adolescents, children, couples and families.
Bill has over 32 years experience helping people with their problems and enhancing emotional health and well being. Bill can provide therapy and counselling for a range of problems including: anxiety, phobias, depression, anger management, trauma, stress, marital difficulties, ADHD and child/adolescent behavioural problems, adjustment problems and difficulties with life transitions.
Bill utilises a number of treatment modalities depending on the needs of the client and may include long term psychodynamic psychotherapy, brief therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, integrated therapy, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness.
Patrick Rawstorne provides assessment, counselling and treatment for adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing a range of behavioural, emotional and relationship difficulties.
The types of problems that Patrick helps his clients with include sadness and depression, grief, fear and anxiety, post-traumatic stress, stress management, anger management, addictions (gambling, drugs, alcohol, sex), emotional dysregulation, sexual identity and other identity issues, relationship difficulties, difficulties in living with chronic illness, adjusting to life transitions, and a desire to live life more closely aligned with one’s values.
Patrick utilises mainly cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT) and person-centred therapies, including: ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) with mindfulness; Schema Therapy; DBT (Dialetical Behaviour Therapy); and Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT).
